INGREDIENTS
1 lb raw shrimp, deveined with shells on
1/2 stick of butter
1 head of garlic, peeled and minced
1/2 cup Flour
1 tbsp paprika
1 tbsp cayenne pepper
1 ½ tsp Sea Salt or Kosher Salt
1 tbsp ground black pepper
1/4 cup Hawaiian chili pepper water
2 Teaspoons Lemon Juice
DIRECTIONS
In a large bowl, add flour, paprika, cayenne pepper, sea salt, and ground black pepper and mix well. Add the shrimp and coat well with the seasoning.
In a large pan, add the butter. Turn the heat on high, once the butter is melted add the minced garlic and the shrimp. Cook the shrimp for about 3-4 minutes on both sides. About 2 minutes before you're done cooking the shrimp, add the lemon juice and the chili pepper water ( the more chili water you add the hotter it will be). Keep stirring the shrimp well, the sauce should get smoother and thicken a little.
Serve the shrimp with white rice and a side of cabbage salad. Enjoy!
