Ingredients:
*Chili:
-2 tsp olive oil
-1 small yellow onion, minced
-1 garlic clove, minced
-1 tbsp chili powder
-2 tsp smoked paprika
-1/2 tsp ground cumin
-1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
-12 oz ground beef (or favorite meat replacement)
-1 cup tomato sauce
-1 tsp worcestershire sauce
-kosher salt, to taste
*Others:
-8 beef hot dogs
-hawaiian rolls or regular hot dogs buns
*Toppings:
-chopped white onions
-shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
In a deep pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook for about 4-6 minutes. Stir in the chili powder, smoked paprika, cumin, and cayenne. Cook for about 1 minute to incorporate.
Add the ground beef and cook, breaking up the meat into small pieces with a spoon until no longer pink, for about 8 minutes.
Stir in the tomato sauce and worcestershire sauce and bring to a simmer. Cook, stirring occasionally, until thickened, for about 15 minutes. Taste and season with salt.
Cook the sausages to you preference, either grilled or boiled. If using hawaiian rolls, make sure it is up to 3 buns together, unseperated. Butter rolls and toast.
Place each hot dogs into a bun and spoon chili over each. Add toppings and enjoy!
