Ingredients:
-2 lbs thinly sliced pork
-1 small onion, thinly sliced
-3 scallions, chopped
-oil, for cooking
*Marinade:
-3 tbsp gochujang
-2 tbsp soy sauce
-1 tbsp rice wine or mirin
-2 tbsp brown sugar
-1 tbsp corn syrup or honey
-2 tbsp sesame oil
-2 tbsp minced garlic
-1 tbsp grated ginger
Directions:
Cut pork into thin slices
Combine marinade ingredients in a bowl. Add pork and marinade for 30 minutes or overnight in refrigerator.
To cook, heat oil in a large non-stick skillet over high heat. Add pork and cook for 5 minutes or until golden brown. Add scallions and onions, cook for 2 minutes until translucent and caramelized. Check that pork is thoroughly cooked.
Serve immediately with rice and an egg roll like the boys did. Garnish with sliced scallions and sesame seeds.
