Ingredients:
1 lb asparagus, trimmed
1 tsp olive oil
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
1 lemon, cut into wedges
Directions:
Place the oven rack on the top 1/3 of the oven.
Preheat oven to 475F (245C). Add a baking pan of water at the bottom of the oven. Add asparagus to the oven on a slightly greased sheet pan. Let it steam in the oven for 2-4 minutes, or until tender.
Remove the water and pan from the oven. Drizzle the olive oil and coat asparagus. Sprinkle with parmesan, salt and pepper.
Bake until slightly browned, about 5 minutes. Do not turn or shake. serve with lemon wedges. Enjoy!
