Serves 2
Ingredients:
7oz/ 180g Asian chives
1 green chili, seeded and finely chopped
2 tsp/ 10 mL sesame seeds, to garnish
For the seasoning
2 tbsp/ 30 mL soy sauce
2 garlic cloves crushed
2 tsp/ 10mL gochugaru
2 tsp/ 10 mL sesame oil
2 tsp/ 10 mL sugar
Directions:
Clean the chives, then trim off the ends and discard. Slice roughly. In a bowl, combine the chives and chili pepper.
To make the seasoning, mix the soy sauce, garlic, chili powder, sesame oil, and sugar together. Add it to the bowl with the chives and chili. Mix until well coated, and then chill.
Garnish with sesame seeds and serve. Enjoy!
